Joele Frank Named #1 M&A Communications Advisor by The Deal for 2021

January 19, 2022 – The Deal recently recognized Joele Frank as the top M&A PR advisory firm for the full year 2021The rankings reflect transactions announced in 2021 and valued at or greater than $100 million. Joele Frank advised on 168 transactions during the period, including 83 for the acquirer and 85 for the seller. The firm has received the #1 spot in The Deal’s annual rankings for nine consecutive years.

Joele Frank’s M&A work in 2021 included representing Kansas City Southern in its $31 billion sale to Canadian Pacific; Square in its $29 billion acquisition of Afterpay; Thermo Fisher in its $20.9 billion acquisition of PPD; and Hillrom in its $12.4 billion sale to Baxter International, among others.

Gregory Elders Participates in Going Carbon Neutral Panel at The Deal – Corporate Governance 2021 Conference

September 30th, 2021 – Gregory Elders, a Managing Director at Joele Frank, recently participated in The Deal - Corporate Governance 2021: Business as a Driving Force for Social Change hosted by Jim Cramer. During the Going Carbon Neutral panelist discussion, Gregory spoke about the increasing pressure businesses face in targeting net zero carbon emissions. He highlighted that investors are applying the most pressure on reducing emissions as they are increasingly voting against board directors at laggard companies.
