Lisa Boyd is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Governance and Corporate Stewardship Practice at Joele Frank, Wilkinson Brimmer Katcher. She is a trusted advisor to boards and executive teams, helping companies navigate complexity and drive meaningful impact through strategic communications, reputation management, corporate governance, sustainability disclosures, and crisis response.
Prior to joining Joele Frank in 2022, Lisa held progressive leadership roles at Target Corporation across communications, merchandising, marketing, and reputation and risk management. She led enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthened brand trust, aligned messaging across business units, and supported high-impact priorities. Her experience includes governance-related disclosures, executive speechwriting and public positioning, media relations, crisis response, stakeholder engagement, and brand sponsorships.
As co-leader of Joele Frank’s Governance and Corporate Stewardship Practice, Lisa plays a central role in advising clients on high-stakes communications and disclosure strategies. She is deeply engaged in client advisory, providing strategic counsel that aligns with evolving market dynamics and stakeholder expectations. Lisa also co-leads operations and long-term planning for the practice, ensuring consistent, top-tier client service.
Lisa received her B.A. in Communications from the University of Minnesota and has served on several advisory boards for business and community organizations, including The Conference Board, Retail Industry Leaders Association, Forum for the Future, Food Marketing Institute, and the Greater Twin Cities United Way.
