Andrew provides strategic communications counsel to companies on a wide range of special situations, including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and shareholder activism defense and proxy contests. Notable transactions include advising Johnson & Johnson on its acquisition of Abiomed; Rio Tinto on its acquisition of Turquoise Hill Resources; Bristol Myers Squibb on its acquisition of Celgene; The Infrastructure Investments Fund (IIF) on its acquisition of El Paso Electric; SUPERVALU on its acquisition by UNFI; Lifetime Brands on its acquisition of Filament Brands; Swift Transportation on its merger with Knight Transportation; First Cash on its merger with Cash America; Progressive Waste Solutions on its acquisition by Waste Connections; US Airways on its merger with American Airlines; and L Catterton on its merger with L Capital.

Andrew joined Joele Frank in 2012. He received a BA in Russian and East European Studies from Yale University.
