Director
Jenna provides strategic counsel and communications support to companies across industries in a broad range of special situations and high-profile events, including mergers and acquisitions, crisis management, shareholder activism defense and management changes. She also assists clients with ongoing investor relations and corporate communications. Her areas of expertise include:
Transaction Communications
She advises clients to successfully navigate through significant corporate events including friendly and unsolicited M&A transactions, go-privates and spin-offs. Notable assignments include: Kroger in its agreement to acquire Albertsons, Broadcom on its acquisition of VMware; HP’s defense to Xerox’s unsolicited bid; Neiman Marcus Group on its global strategic partnership with and investment by FARFETCH; Herman Miller in its acquisition of Knoll; AEA-Bridges Impact Corp. on its SPAC business combination with Harley-Davidson’s electric motorcycle division LiveWire; Reinvent Technology Partners on SPAC business combinations with Joby Aviation, Hippo, and Aurora; and Cimarex’s merger with Cabot Oil & Gas.
Crisis Communications & Special Situations
She assists and advises companies with crisis preparedness and responses related to a range of issues including litigation, cybersecurity incidents, workforce reductions, reputational attacks, regulatory inquiries, short attack campaigns, and unplanned leadership changes.
Shareholder Activism
She has supported companies in public and private activist situations. Recent assignments have been opposite Starboard Value, Elliott Management, Land & Buildings and Carl Icahn, among others.
Investor Relations & Public Relations
She works with clients to enhance their overall corporate communications strategy, including corporate positioning and message development, thought leadership and profile raising, quarterly earnings preparation, employee communications, investor conferences and presentations and analyst days.
Jenna joined Joele Frank in 2019. She received a BS in Finance from the Kogod School of Business at American University.
